Take a Class
Tool Training and Testing
If you have already taken a class somewhere else, have prior experience using the machine, and would like to be trained on how to use the specific machine at the makerspace and pass the safety test, please schedule a tool training and testing session. Each tool training and testing session is 1 hour. Typically testing on multiple machines can be covered in that one hour, though the number of machines that can be tested on varies by the machine type and individual.
Make A Cutting Board: Intro to Woodworking Class
If you have no prior experience and have never taken a class before on how to use a table saw, jointer, planer, bandsaw, or table router, then this is the class for you! Taking the class also completes tool testing for the relevant machines and includes the cost of the materials for the class.
